The Lifelong Learning Programme (LLP) enables participants at all levels of education and stages of their lives to acquire trans-cultural learning experiences, expand their foreign language skills, exchange experiences and take part in innovative projects. It also promotes high-quality development of the education and occupational training sector throughout Europe. The following sub-programmes are part of the LLP: Comenius for scholastic education, Leonardo da Vinci for occupational training, Erasmus for university education and Grundtvig for adult education. The cross-section programme focuses, among other things, on political cooperation and on the distribution and effective use of project results. This broad range for all levels of education opens up many different paths to Europe.
